We are proud to announce the launch of The Magic Penny, the first in our children's book series dedicated to educating even our youngest investors! Written by J. Hunter Orr, Chief Investment Office and Senior Partner at Flaharty Asset Management, simple and essential money concepts are introduced as charming bedtime stories with a purpose.
Since the founding of our firm in 2007, our team has been empowered to CARE for our clients. Malama, the Hawaiian word meaning 'to care for' is memorialized throughout our offices. With the support of the firm beyond our team, and the encouragement to think outside the box, we've had thousands of iconic moments in our firm's history of going above and beyond. In early 2000, we began sending meaning children's books to clients when they welcome a new baby or grandbaby to their family, with an encouraging note inside from all of us.
In early 2024, in the spirit of innovation and divergent thinking, one creative team member came up with the idea of merging this iconic gift moment with an opportunity to educate the youngest generation in a whimsical and entertaining way. Thus was born The Magic Penny.
