A graduate of Pepperdine University in business and finance, Todd began his career as a financial planner in 2000. As Senior Vice President and Accredited Investment Fiduciary with Flaharty Asset Management, Todd’s professional approach is focused on each client’s life experiences, goals, and objectives. His ability to understand complex financial issues is the foundation of providing his clients with a risk-aware financial plan based on their desired outcomes.
Todd is an instructor at St. Petersburg College, providing a series of financial planning and retirement classes. The pre-retiree and retiree students have a desire to increase their understanding of the needed planning, investment strategies, and protection options available through their retirement.
As ten-year resident of Safety Harbor, Todd has served on several boards and community-based service organizations. He has given back through Rotary International, Door of Hope for foster parenting, and Restored to Dream, which supports the recovery of human trafficking victims. He also served as Treasurer and Board member for Volunteer Florida, a four-year gubernatorial appointment responsible for administering the $31.7 million funding for national service and volunteer programs across the state.
A true sporting family Todd and his wife Denise are actively involved in their sons after school teams including baseball, basketball, hockey, flag football, and golf. Todd also enjoys spending time with his family fishing in and around the greater Tampa Bay area.
