Michael Demski is the Investment Executive at Flaharty Asset Management. Michael studied finance at Northern Illinois University where he earned his Bachelor’s degree and is also a CFA Charterholder. He is from Chicago, and in 2015, began working as a Trust Investment Officer for a regional bank managing over $1 billion is assets. Michael has broad investment management experience that includes asset allocation, investment implementation, and discretionary portfolio management.
At Northern Illinois University, he served as Senior Portfolio Manager for the student managed University Foundation and was a member of the Financial Management Association. Michael also was a member of the Investment Club where he participated in mock portfolio competitions. He is passionate about markets and enjoys reading and continuing to learn. He loves Football, and watching the Chicago Bears and Michigan Wolverines. In his down time, Michael enjoys cooking as a hobby. He also enjoys fitness, the outdoors, and spending time with his girlfriend, family, and friends.
